I have used the gorgeous sketch from Michelle Singh at C'est Magnifique for the May Sketch Challenge, as well as Let's Get Sketchy challenge.

The additional requirement from Let's Get Sketchy is to also use a favorite color combination. I made a mood board as a continuation of a color challenge at Prima. I simply added other pictures that inspire me into a collage. I really wanted to focus on strong spring overtures!
This is what I came up with...my daughter Payton, from her Sophomore Year Homecoming (she is a Senior now, and here you get a glimpse of her hair in it's natural color state...truly a rare thing!)

And lots of closeups...you can see the sprinkled seed beads, the pearls, lace, miscellaneous paper punching and some paint splatter on the top of a gessoed background. Also, I used some Dust Attic chipboard (part of the Wrought Iron set) as extra accents.
I handmade the pink picotee edge rose and the green and white rose behind it. Additionally, I sewed a purple and a pink lace ruffle for the base of some Prima flowers.
I did some fussy cutting, too and tucked cheesecloth in between the flowers. I made a little embellishment using a piece of Tim Holtz grunge board and put an image of a faberge egg on it. Lastly I touch nearly everything with stickles glitter glue.
I had some cute little word stickers that I added and of course more roses and a glittered butterfly!

I appreciate YOU taking the time to stop by and take a look!!
Have a WONDERFUL Day!
