Aquamarine Birthday Card

Here is a quick card I want to show you that I made for my sister Libbie's birthday on March 3rd. I am entering this in the Frilly and Funky Stencils and Texture challenge. I used Shimmerz Dazzlers for my texture along with a Heidi Swapp lattice stencil to get the pretty background. I also did a little paint splattering and lots of little layers to get the grunge/distressed look. Because my sister's birthday is in March, I made the card in an aquamarine colorway - and it is also her favorite! You can click on the photos to see even closer detail.
Here, you can see the little bird in the background and a cute little Kaisercraft butterfly.
I made this rosette and die cut a star for the base and added some cute little roses.
Here is the inside of the card.
Thank you for taking a quick peek!
Have a lovely day!
