I seriously cannot get over how magnificent the July Kit of the Month from Flying Unicorn was! I was in my happy zone through every project because Alda puts together kits that completely elicit the creative process! I had this old photo of my mom when she was about 14 - note how the curtains in the photo go so well with the floral swag paper!
I started out by using Prima Debutante "English Waltz" and Lemoncraft House of roses "Time Flies" papers, tearing the corner of the Time Flies paper and spritzing it with water to dampen it enough to gather it back.
I made a couple of rosettes and layered some papers and gorgeous embellishments. I also fussy cut the 18th Century lady who so daintily rests in the lower left corner from the backside of the English Waltz paper. I used some 13 Arts Ayeeda Gold Pearl paint thinned down with water to shade around elements and add some glimmer to the page.
I adore the little accoutrements included in the kit, like the little wooden purse and scissors, the clock and roses flair, and the little rosette bling.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a lovely and creative day!!!
