It is time to show you another layout I created using the magnificent Flying Unicorn Your Passion Your Art May 2014 Kit of the Month!

I used a photo of my daughter Payton that I digitally altered about 10 years ago on the Draw program that isn't even around anymore. I kept the photo because I liked it so much (I even jokingly convinced a few people that it was a photo of Payton's great grandmother - of course I told them the truth after.) Anyhow, I thought the papers in the kit from 7 Dots Studio Nature Walk complimented the picture perfectly, especially because it has a Tim Burton/Edgar Allen Poe feel to it, which are two of Payton's favorite personalities.

I began by measuring and stitching with long threads around the whole page. I didn't have to do much background work because there is already so much good stuff going on. Next I layered some more paper and also used some from the Prima Cartographer collection. I also used a little burlap.

I added gorgeous flowers, also from Cartographer (thanks Frank) on top of an inked doily. I glittered the inside of the Flying Unicorn Bird Adornment (also very Poe.)

I punched the tags with a hole punch and ran some twine through them.

Added more flowers and embellishments....

And a great chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments that I left natural - and my page was complete.
