"In Its Time" Canvas

For the super fun and enchanting Creative Embellishments Challenge this month, I decided to create a canvas that is reminiscent of the gorgeous inspiration photo. I love how it turned out and when you look at it in person, it really glitters and sparkles.

To create this canvas, I started off with a black canvas, added the 13 Arts stenciled stars from the Flying Unicorn June Kit of the Month on the background, made stems with Liquid Pearls and added small flowers. After those elements were dry, I added the Creative Embellishments Wing Set 6 and Large Clock Face 4" and a flower in the center and gave everything a heavy coat of 13 Arts Ayeeda Black Gesso. When the gesso was dried, I painted the canvas with several Silks Acrylic Glazes and I also splattered white gesso all over the "sky."

Next, using my fingertips, I gilded the chipboard pieces and some of the high points of the canvas with Viva Décor Inka Gold. Lastly, I added the title and coated it with Glossy Accents to give it a more durable finish.
