Hi There! You are at Paper and Passementerie...
Thank you for stopping by for Day 2 of our fun little hop - hopefully you will find neat little things to spark some fabulous creative Christmas ideas. Today I will be sharing a little advent calendar that I made ( with my daughter Chandler helping me out.)
Every night through the month of December up until Christmas, one envelope will be opened. Within each envelope is a directive such as "watch Rudolph,"write a letter to Santa," bake cookies,"make ornaments," open a small gift," read The Night Before Christmas," etc.
This is such a fun way to make sure that we seize every opportunity of this wonderful season and it will also ensure that I will have plenty of photos to scrap in the future!
Here are a few close-ups. I downloaded many envelope templates from Pinterest and cut down all of my 12x12 papers to 8x11 1/2 and printed the templates and then cut each one out and assembled them by folding and gluing them together.
Even though I kept the same color scheme, every envelope is different. I punched paper remnant strips for cute little borders, added the numbers, and small embellishments.
I used all of the remaining pieces of paper that were left over from cutting down the 12x12 papers for the cards inside that have the directions for the day.
Now remember, I will be having a drawing for those who become a follower on my blog and leave a comment on my blog every day of the hop. Here is my little Christmas prize pack for the winner. Good Luck!
So hop on over to Brandi's blog - I just know you will be delighted with her creativity and wonderful spirit!

To make sure you don't get lost along the way here is the hopping order for Day 2 -
