Once again, it's time to share another layout I created from the INCREDIBLE May Your Passion Your Art Kit of the Month from Flying Unicorn. I have to say, this one turned out to be my favorite. You know it some how feels right when you are having so much fun creating that you aren't even trying - there is just this wonderful flow of ideas. The photo is my son Seth, taken about 2 years ago. I just loved the exuberance he expressed.
Well, I started out with lots of paper tearing and inking. I used black water color and gold splatters on the background.
I layered the papers to get a more vertical look. I fussy cut some balloons from the amazing Prima Cartographer Collection.
I also used flowers, brads, chipboard and wood embellishments from this line too. Oh how I loved this collection!!! Also, this Main kit at Flying Unicorn sold out SOOOO fast, and I heard the next one is a doozy - Alda said it is her favorite to date...so get on that wagon quickly come May 31st!!!
I covered the Fabscraps Dreams and Wishes with Inka Gold and edged it with black ink. Then I covered it with Glossy Accents.
Aren't these bark butterflies astounding!!!
I can always see the wheels turning in my son's head and he never sits still for a minute. He loves to learn and experiment - much like me!
I hope you enjoyed your visit! Thank you for taking a peek.
Blessings!
