I do not know how Alda consistently does it, but the Flying Unicorn Kit is out of this world, month after month! I created this layout from the September kit and I just couldn't get enough of it!!! Also, because we have the absolute privilege of having Gabrielle Pollacco as our guest designer this month, I thought I would pay homage and try to scrap in her style, which (to me) is the epitome of elegance and focused design. The layout features a photo of my daughter Payton and her boyfriend Grey.
I started out by using some of Gabi's signature moves...scalloped edges, heart center, word stencil, inked background, die cuts and some stitching. Can you tell I have learned so much from her?
I just adore the "Something Blue"papers from Prima. Also, this month in the kit was this FABULOUS die from Cottage Kutz - you will be seeing me use this over and over - it is my new favorite thing in my stash, thank you Alda! I used it to frame the page and add extra fluff to the florals.
Some chipboard, stickers and flowers...
...and of course a couple of butterflies to top it off!
Thank you so much for looking and I hope you have a lovely day!!!
