"Forever Friends" layout by Lainie Michel for Flying Unicorn

I could not get enough of the July Kit of the Month from Flying Unicorn! This layout was created for two best friends...my daughter Austinie and her dear friend Kaila, before the Homecoming Dance. I just love how the Lemoncraft papers capture the elegance and romance of the event.

I used the amazing vine Flourish 30 from Creative Embellishments and I snipped it apart, lightly inked them, and drew veining with a watercolor pencil. I blurred the lines with water and when they were dry, I generously coated them with Glossy Accents.

I also did a ton of fussy cutting, for which these papers are perfect. I added some gorgeous trim between the layers of misted and stamped paper.

 There were so many adorable accoutrements included in the kit, like buttons, tags and printed wooden pieces.
