Finnigan

So, I did a layout of my cat Finnigan and my daughter Payton for a CSI challenge Case File #107. I would never have thought of using this color combination, and to my surprise, it really looks nice together.
Here are the parameters of the case.
I chose to compliment my new kitty, which was difficult because she is after all a kitten, which means she gets into everything. I have found several of my beautiful scrapbooking flowers shredded to bits around the house. However, I still think she is just the sweetest little thing. Apparently Payton could just eat her up!
My scattered journaling reads, " We found you on a farm of a friend and they had no idea where you came from...and you were so sweet. So we took you home to meet your new family and you found a friend-Nemo. Even though you are sometimes mischievous (you eat my scrapbooking supplies) we still love you."
I used flowers, ribbon, a diamond/harlequin type pattern, a wet medium for splashes, a mini brad, and stripes for this layout.
Here is another close-up of the splattering/splashes on my layout
Thank you for taking a peek, have a lovely day.

  1. Oh I do love kitties! we have 3 of them ourselves. He he can totally relate to my precious blooms being shredded to pieces and they always seem to have a knack for choosing the most expensive ones too! I really like your take on the challenge, such a lovely page! I particularly like the ribbon cluster, very pretty! xx
