This Is What Love Looks Like

I created this layout of my son Seth and my niece Shelbie at my other niece - Lindsie's wedding, using lines from My Minds Eye, mixing the color scheme to reflect the mood board from Scrap Around The World and a beautiful sketch by Nadia Cannizzo for  Dusty Attic
I absolutely love Dusty Attic, and I used this months sketch as my jumping off point for form.
And I used the scrumptious mood board from Scrap Around The World. I was very much inspired by the wedding cake and the touches of gold. Because of this, I used a photo of my son who was a ring bearer in my niece's wedding - and it so happened that her wedding colors were very similar to the cake!
I was wondering how I was going to get the little mix of orange and bright in with the pinks and purples, so of course I added in a little splattered paint.
The gorgeous papers are from My Minds Eye Lost and Found2 Blush and Rosy. I fussy cut and layered a border and added it to my background paper. I used an overlay for the photo and some beautiful prompts and embellishments from the lines, as well. It is true that all you need is love and this paper and sentiments highlighted the theme of the photo so beautifully!
I incorporated this beautiful Dusty Attic Ornate Fence#1 (DA0440.) I inked and embossed with several colors and powders to get the desired effect.
Also, the sketch is so lovely and gave me the opportunity to use this large crocheted doily, which I dyed and used a gold and pearl glaze over it.
Thank you for looking and I always love to hear your sweet and encouraging comments
God Bless!
