This month's Flying Unicorn Kit of the Month was so very versatile, it was so hard to pick and choose which elements I wanted to use first! This layout features a photo of my two friends and classmates and myself (on the hay bale) studying for school. The photo was actually taken for a presentation in one of my business classes illustrating (mocking) how the University needed to upgrade their classrooms...heehee.
Anyway....I was so intrigued by the sample pack of Golden gels and mediums in the Mixed Art add-on, that I knew I had to get in there and play. For this layout, I mixed in some gold Perfect Pearls with the medium texture paste and created this gorgeous golden color for my stencil.

I sprinkled some glittering gold heat-embossing here and there for extra "pop." I did some stamping with a lacy stamp and embellished. I also used the rose mold and fast dry modeling clay from the Small Art Big Passion add-on to mold a bunch of flowers and gilded the edges of each.

I die-cut some craft paper leaves to coordinate with the amazing leaf vine included in the Mixed Passion add-on kit. I also backed some of the smaller wooden bead centered flowers with Flying Unicorn Adornments.
...And then there were these incredible burlap flowers with touches of gold that were perfect for the layout. Lastly I added some sequins here and there and the adorable title (reflecting me holding the flashlight in the photo) for the finishing touch.
Thank you for stopping by!
